The published PDF version contains vector‑format data as well as georeferencing (which makes it possible to determine a location on the PDF chart and measure distances). Because of this, loading or viewing the PDF chart may be slower. For better and faster use of the PDF-format chart, it is recommended to download the file and open it with a dedicated PDF reader (e.g., Acrobat Reader).

For a quicker overview of the VFR chart, if you do not need to perform searches or determine coordinates on the chart, we recommend using the published TIFF (image) format version.
