Drone flying is becoming increasingly popular among hobbyists and professionals alike, and drones share the same airspace with airplanes and helicopters.
To make it easier to navigate the airspace regulations, we have launched a new application today (13.07), which also replaces the previously used drone map. The new application displays the drone flying rules applicable in Estonia, as well as NOTAMs (Notice to Airmen), and it allows for submitting drone flight plans for coordination with the Estonian Air Navigation Services (Lennuliiklusteenindus AS) in the vicinity of Tallinn (Tallinn CTR). Be sure to familiarize yourself with the drone flying rules on the Estonian Transport Administration website: https://transpordiamet.ee/droonid.
The application can be accessed at the web address https://utm.eans.ee/avm/, and in the near future, drone pilots will also have access to mobile applications for both Apple and Android users.
You can find the user manual for the application at https://www.eans.ee/tegevused/mehitamata-lennundus.
